## Supported files

Edit PDF accepts standard unencrypted .pdf files. Image overlays accept PNG and JPG files.

Move and resize selected objects with handles or numeric controls.

Undo, redo, delete selected objects, copy and paste, bring forward, and send backward.

Export with visible overlays preserved in the resulting PDF.

## How to use Edit PDF

1. **Upload PDF** — Upload one PDF and wait for the editor canvas to open.
2. **Choose tool** — Choose a toolbar item such as text, image, shape, link, stamp, page number, or watermark.
3. **Edit overlays** — Select overlays on the page to move, resize, copy, delete, reorder, and adjust settings.

### Can this edit existing PDF text?

No. It adds new visible overlays and annotations. Existing PDF objects remain intact.

### Is whiteout secure redaction?

No. Whiteout visually covers content only. Use the Redact PDF tool when irreversible removal is required.

### Are my files uploaded?

No. Inspection and export run in a browser worker without sending file bytes to a server.
